OK, friends, as you are working with X7 or reading the other WebPlus forums, and find workarounds to perplexing issues, please post them in this thread.

PS - I can't see a way to edit the post title in this place.  What's the secret?

Text formatting changed when opening a file from previous versions.

A1. Select the text > TEXT > paragraph > set Line Spacing  to EXACTLY.

A2. Or, if using Text Styles, go to the left flyout > Text Styles tab > the text frame will be selected > used the dropdown and select Modify > change Paragaph to Line Spacing > Exactly.

I'm confused, Marilyn. That sounds like a bug report; I thought this was meant to be a workarounds thread.  SM:UNSURE

Well, you are probably correct, corniest.  Maybe someone will come along with a workaround for the issue.

OT, I see that the current goal is £350 but the 'Total Goals' amount to £563.50; as far as I'm aware, Charlie hasn't told us what the other £213.50 is for!  SM:GLARE

It also says Total Donations = £136.85

Yet it only shows £85.00 received. I would assume that the differences are the PayPal share of the take.

I'm tempted to give you another 'like' for that, Nigel, but is would probably only encourage you to waffle! ;)

LOL. You are getting cynical in your old age, aren't you! I think PayPal's share is something like 3.4% plus 25p.

Not to lead this topic any further astray, but could it be from the "memberships" too? they could go under total donations but not amount received? I don't know! :P

Really Tamar, try to stay focused. This thread is about my waffle toaster.

Don't you think a hot, buttered waffle would have been the more likely candidate under the circs? ;)

But it isn't your waffle toaster (yet)! :P

Good grief.  Not long since, there was an outcry when someone was alleged to be shooting Charlie's forum initiative down in flames.  Now Marilyn starts a legitimate X7 workarounds thread and look what happens. Is this the way to attract new members to this place?
